1st Fondant Cake
Today I made my very 1st cake decorated with fondant! Actually, I made the flowers a week ago, but the rest was done today. It looks ok for the first time I think. I haven't eaten it yet. I can't wait to try it even though I am not too sure on how crazy I am about fondant icing. I think I would rather just eat buttercream. I guess you take the fondant off. What would you do?
Enjoy the pic. P.S. While I was cooking, Dizz was sleeping! What a life :)

Wabash & Dizz
Wabash is my Dad and Mom's Black and Tan Coonhound and Dizz's best friend. They playing with each other and even sometimes get into fights! (Not bad fights usually over a bone) check out their picture above. It is really funny watching them play together. Wabash is 100 lbs and Dizz is 20 lbs, but they work it out. I sometimes wish people would get along with each other as easy as dogs seem to get along. Dizz and Wabash aren't worried about anyones appearance, they just want to play!
What R Ya Thinkin'?
What do dogs think? Ball, Ball, Ball, Ball....... Food, Food, Food, Food.... I have no idea, but I like to think that they know exactly what I'm saying and that is how it will be for me! :) I don't know anyone else in the World that would follow me around while cleaning the house and be excited & happy about it! Dizz is and he keeps me going and makes it way easier for me. I love dogs! I recently just visited my friend who has a chocolate lab. This dog is so cute and so good! I just love dogs! :) Dizz even stays with me and "helps" me make my cakes!

Spring and Summer
It has been a while since I have posted a note. I must add that at this time, Dizz is barking up a storm. He wants to play ball! I have decided to split this blog in 2. Sometimes it will discuss Dizz and sometimes baking. Just like Forrest Gump said "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get! Enjoy. Here are 3 of my first cakes which were made in Feb. March, and April!
